Split Chat Tutorial
Split chat allows you to visually organize conversations and selectively respond to messages. Instead of placing messages purely chronologically, Split Chat divides the conversation area into two columns, allowing you to easily refer to separate parts of your conversation. Choose which message to respond to by clicking next to a message, dragging the compose indicator, or using the Ctrl + Up and Ctrl + Down keyboard shortcuts.
You can respond to none of the message by placing the compose indicator below the last received message.
See which messages your buddy is responding to.
Occasionaly you will be unable to reply to certain messages. This happens when either you or your buddy close the message window or sign off before there is a chance for a response.
