Thanks to a Gush user, we found out that using Gush 1.3 with the "Jabber SSL" option set causes Gush not to log into the server. If option doesn't make any sense to you, then you're probably not using it, and it won't effect your IM sessions. The new versions are up, and ready for downloading.
